The company has also announced that former CEO Neil Everitt will return to Oaktree Capital Management in the US to concentrate on finding new opportunities for Stock. He is replaced by Chris Heath, who was CFO. Oaktree owns the company.
In his role Tarcala will lead the company’s marketing operations in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, where Stock Plzeň accounts for 35% of the spirits market.
Tarcala’s appointment comes following a decision to split the role of marketing and sales director.

Tomas’s proven track record in marketing will help us in driving forward the business and will prove a huge asset to our operations in both the Czech Republic, where we are the leading spirits company, and also Slovakia.”
Tarcala has 15 years experience in marketing positions gained principally at Reckitt Benckiser, the global consumer goods company. He most recently held the position of marketing director Italy.
Tarcala will be based at the Stock Plzeň office in the Czech Republic and will report to Petr Pavlik, managing director of Stock Plzeň.
