This is part of the long-term distribution deal between Berry Bros. & Rudd’s US-based distributor, Anchor Distilling Company and Karlsson’s.
Karlsson’s founder Peter Ekelund, said: “We are so pleased to join forces with Berrys’, it’s a perfect fit for our product and is a fantastic opportunity for us to expand our international markets.”
Karlsson’s Gold Vodka is described as a blend of several varietals of virgin new potatoes from Cape Bjäre, Sweden. It is said to be handcrafted, single-distilled and unfiltered to preserve the flavour and character of this ingredient.
Each varietal is distilled only once through a continuous, column-still lined with copper. They are then blended without charcoal filtration. The resulting vodka is described as “full-bodied and rich, with a distinct viscosity and mouth-feel”.
