VINEXPO: Château Malartic-Lagravière to host Fête de la Fleur

25 April, 2017

Bordeaux wine producer Château Malartic-Lagravière has paired up with Michelin-star chef Yannick Alléno to host 1,500 industry experts for the Fête de la Fleur at VINEXPO.

The Bonnie family, Château Malartic-Lagravière owners, has been working with Alléno for two years to host the Fête de la Fleur on 21 June 2017 at Château Malartic-Lagravière, an event which brings together leading experts in the wine trade industry.

Alfred-Alexandre Bonnie said: “There are a lot of parallels and similarities between the chef’s work in the kitchen and our work in the vineyard.

“The process of enriching the terroir through extraction and fermentation as advocated by Yannick Alléno is also central to our endeavours as winegrowers at Château Malartic-Lagravière.”

The Bonnie family are hosting the Fête de la Fleur to mark 20 years at Château Malartic-Lagravière and the event will act as the closing ceremony of the 2017 VINEXPO Bordeaux show.

Yannick Alléno added: “To me wine is a great passion; I’m fascinated by vineyard work and the immense know-how and skills needed to accomplish it. I like to talk with winegrowers.

“Malartic-Lagravière is a château which I much appreciate, and I feel particularly honoured to have been chosen to celebrate Fête de la Fleur with a dinner we intend to make exceptional.”
