UK: Marks & Spencer appoints new winemaker

UK: Marks & Spencer has appointed winemaker Belinda Kleinig to its wine team.

Kleinig was formally winemaker and technical manager for Bibendum Wines.

 She said: "I am thrilled to be joining Marks & Spencer's award winning wine team.  I have winemaking experience at both boutique and large wineries and my seven years at Bibendum has given me a good understanding of the British wine market. I am looking forward to working alongside winemakers Jo Ahearne MW, Sue Daniels as well as the rest of the team, to develop the wine range further."
