Scottish & Newcastle UK is to exclusively import, market and distribute Tiger Beer in the UK, from March.
 

Scottish & Newcastle UK is to exclusively import, market and distribute Tiger Beer in the UK, from March. Tiger Export Pte Ltd (TEPL) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Asia Pacific Breweries Ltd. The brand was previously imported and distributed by Tiger Beer UK Ltd, a subsidiary of TEPL, set up in 2005.Jonathan Townsend, speciality brands director, S&N UK said: "Tiger already enjoys a loyal consumer following in the UK. By accessing S&N’s unrivalled on and off trade distribution network, Tiger will now be able to realise its massive potential in this market." Mr James Wong, Deputy Regional Director (Singapore, Cambodia and Export), Asia Pacific Breweries Ltd said: "We are very pleased to have signed this agreement with Scottish & Newcastle UK and believe this marks a strategic move for Tiger Beer in the UK. The company has a formidable track record of nurturing and developing great brands and we are confident that their rich experience and understanding of the UK beer market will take Tiger to the next level of success in this market." Tiger beer has a presence in over 70 countries. In the UK, it can be found in over 8,00 bars and clubs and on the specialist beer shelves within off licences and supermarkets across the country.
