Grant's launches 25yo blended scotch whisky

12 April, 2010

William Grant & Sons has launched Grant’s 25 year old, a blended scotch whisky. The product will initially be exclusive to travel retail.

Each individually numbered batch has been married in oak tuns for several months.

Peter Gordon, the fifth generation descendent of the distillery’s founder, William Grant and current company chairman, said: “Distilled in Girvan – a site built by our current life president Charles Gordon – Grant’s 25 Year Old contains 25 whiskies from every region of Scotland with the most unique element being our Girvan Grain – the backbone of all our blends.”

Grant’s 25 Year Old is presented in a bespoke glass bottle and blue presentation box.

2,000 bottles of Grant’s 25 year old will be available in selected airports from June 2010 until the end of 2011, when it will be available to selected off-trade and on-trade outlets. It has a recommended retail price of £145 per bottle.
