International Beverage wins 49 medals

International Beverage Holdings is celebrating 49 awards in various international drinks competitions, including 13 awards in the International Spirits Challenge.

The Airdrie-based distiller also took home 19 awards in the International Wine and Spirit Competition, 8 in the Beverage Testing Institute’s International Review of Spirits and a further 9 in the Los Angeles International Wine & Spirits Awards.

The medal count comes in at 14 gold, 25 silver and 10 bronze medals for its Old Pulteney, anCnoc, Balblair, Speyburn, Hankey Bannister and Catto’s whiskies and Mekhong Thai Spirit.

Old Pulteney single malt Scotch whisky picked up gold awards for its 12, 17 and 21 year old expressions while Balblair single malt won gold awards for its 1997 and 1991 vintages and anCnoc received gold and silver medals for its 12, 16 year old single malts.
