Foster's appoints CFO

04 November, 2010

Foster's Group has appointed Anthony Reeves to the role of chief financial officer (CFO), on a fixed term contract, effective from Monday 8 November 2010.

Reeves was CFO of OneSteel Limited from 2001 to 2009 and prior to that held a number of senior executive roles with the ICI Group in the UK, USA and Australia.

According to a statement from the company, “his CFO experience is important as Foster’s seeks to maintain its high standard of financial governance, but also Tony’s prior experience with corporate demergers will be valuable as the Board evaluates the potential demerger of its beer and wine businesses”.

Reeves is a fellow of CPA Australia, and immediate past president the group of 100, a body made up of CFOs from Australia’s largest businesses.

The news follows the announcement of Angus McKay's departure, earlier this year.
