05 July, 2011

Entries are now open for this year’s Drinks International Travel Retail Awards. The awards will take place during the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes. The magazine has announced a new venue for this year’s awards – the Bay Restaurant within the Palais des Festivals et des Congres complex.

Drinks International commercial director Justin Smith said: “The TFWA has very generously allowed us to use the Bay Restaurant for the awards, which is a perfect location, enabling easy access for participants directly from the show floor.”

The awards party will take place on Tuesday September 20 from 6pm to 8pm. Smith continued: “We know that there are many events going on during the evening and being able to hold the awards within the Palais itself will provide a very easy-to-get-to first stop for everyone, whatever the weather.”

The Bay Restaurant is situated within the Bay Village above the Riviera Village. Drinks and canapés will be served from 6pm and awards will be announced at 6.45pm.
