Buffalo Trace primed for Antique release

30 August, 2011

Kentucky-based bourbon company, Buffalo Trace Distillery, has announced the September release of its 2011 Antique Collection.

The five-strong range of bourbon whiskies comprises The Sazerac Rye 18 Year Old, Eagle Rare 17 Year Old, George T Stagg, William Larue Weller and Thomas H Handy Sazerac Rye.

The Antique Collection, which was first launched in 2000, will be available in limited quantities from late September and will retail at $70 per bottle.

Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley said: “It will be hard to top last year’s batch of awards. But we think this year’s collection has just as much to offer. I’m anxious to hear if everyone else agrees.”
