Grant's recreates whisky 100 years on

12 June, 2012

Grant's master blender Brian Kinsman has recreated William Grant's whisky - Stand Fast.

Using William Grant's notes, Kinsman has made 100 bottles of the whisky, which will not be sold. The whisky marks 100 years since its was first created and Kinsman was also able to use samples of the 100 year old whisky to perfect the recipe.

The Speyside style is said to be "rich" and "honeyed".

The bottles will sit in the family archive alongside the blending book for future generations.
