Stoli marks 50 years of flavours with Hot and Sticki

14 August, 2012

SPI Group has announced the roll out of the two Stolichnaya variants, Stoli Hot and Stoli Sticki, which were launched in March in the US to celebrate 50 years of flavoured vodkas.

The line extensions, available in the UK, Belgium, UAE, Israel and Latin America are based on Stolichnaya’s  Pepper and Honey & Herb flavours, introduced in 1962.

In the UK Stoli Hot and Stoli Sticki are priced at £19.02 for 70cl and in the US they are US$23.99 for 75cl.

Val Mendeleev, CEO of SPI Group, said: “These spirited and timeless remixes are the perfect complement to our existing premium flavoured vodka portfolio."

Eileen Livingston, marketing controller of Maxxium UK, which distributes the brand in the UK said: “Original flavours are an important part of the growth strategy for Stoli within the UK. This is a priority market for SPI Group and reinforcing our heritage as the original flavoured vodka pioneer is key to the development of the brand.

“We are confident the trade will appreciate the unusual flavour profiles of Hot and Sticki and work with these original variants to create the most original cocktails”.

According to SPI Group, Stoli Hot “offers the warm, fiery sensation of jalapeño peppers; spicy on the palate yet with a delicate smoky quality” and suggests using it for Bloody Marys.

Stoli Sticki is said to have floral and honey floral notes and a subtle sweetness, making it the suitable for a Moscow Mule, said SPI Group.
