Treasury appoints Grant to head up Beringer

Treasury Wine Estates has appointed John Grant as managing director of its Beringer Brand Business Unit.

Grant replaces Stephen Brauer who left the company last month.

Based in Napa, California ,Grant’s appointment is effective immediately, and he will report directly to TWE CEO, David Dearie.

Grant was the vice president, global Brand Director Beringer where he was responsible for global brand development and marketing.

Previously Grant was president, Constellation Wines Australia, and has worked for Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates and Lion Nathan.

In his new role, Grant will be responsible for setting the global strategic direction of the Beringer Brand Business Unit, with a focus on driving the profitable growth of Beringer and other ‘regional champions’, including Chateau St Jean, Etude, Stags’ Leap, and Castello di Gabbiano (Italy).
