Leeuwin Estate launches 2009 Shiraz

25 January, 2013

The Leeuwin Estate has launched a 2009 Margaret River Shiraz as part of its Art Series.

The wine is available worldwide and it is priced US$41-$44, £26-£28 or €30 - €33.

The 13.5%abv wine is said to show “a dark cherry colour with crimson hue. A lifted bouquet of bright red cherries, currants and plums complemented by complex star anise and clove. Beneath, the nose is well supported with hints of oak and aromas of violet and lavender. The palate is vibrant and expressive and shows flavours of red cherries and boysenberry.”
