Blanc de Blancs 2003

English sparkling wine, Nyetimber, will be served for the first time instead of Champagne at Paris Fashion Week.

The West Sussex winery’s Blanc de Blancs 2003 will be served at the Great British Fashion Reception, which will be hosted by the British Ambassador to France Sir Peter Ricketts tomorrow (February 28 2013).

Attended by Fashion luminaries from around the world, the event is organised by UK Trade & Investment in partnership with the British Fashion Council and the UK Fashion & Textile Association.

Christian Holthausen, Nyetimber’s marketing & communications manager, said: “Paris Fashion Week has always been synonymous with Champagne, but the world is indeed changing.

“As French people, we are learning to recognise wines of a high quality from all over the world and Nyetimber’s commitment to quality is undeniable. These wines are absolutely world-class.”

Nyetimber has been the exclusive sparkling wine partner of London Collections: Men since it debuted in June 2012
