New companies onboard for London 2013 event

26 April, 2013

A new UK wine trade event at London’s Royal Albert Hall has received backing from the industry, with KWV the latest to pledge its support.

Mentzendorff, Hatch Mansfield and Wines of Brazil have already signed up to attend.

The William Reed Business Media-organised event, which will take place September 24, is aimed at meeting the needs of buyers. Unlike LIWF,  it will not have a tasting focus.

Suppliers - of which around 100 are expected – will have trading desks and meet buyers on an appointment basis. Buyers will be able to pre-book up to 16 appointments. Parties will be able to interact and view each other’s profiles via London 2013’s website.

The event’s Trading Floor will allow private sampling, minus the presence of sales personnel.
