Treasury’s EMEA appointments

Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) has announced two appointments to its EMEA senior management team.

Oliver Horn has been appointed to the role of general manager, Nordics, Central & Eastern Europe & Middle East Africa. Adam Withrington has been appointed senior PR Manager, EMEA.

Both appointments will be effective from May 15.

Horn has extensive drinks industry experience. Most recently Horn held the role of general manager for TWE in New Zealand which he took on having previously held roles of global brand director for Lindeman’s and global brand director and Australian marketing manager for Wolf Blass.

Prior to moving to Australia, Horn was head of marketing for TWE EMEA and before he joined TWE, he worked for L’Oreal in the UK. Horn will report to Andrew Carter, managing director TWE EMEA and global travel retail.

Adam Withrington joins TWE from Accolade Wines where he last held the position of European PR and events controller, and prior to this role was communications manager at Carlsberg. Withrington was an award winning journalist for almost 10 years; working on titles such as Harpers and The Publican, where he was awarded Trade & Technical Beer Writer of the Year by the British Guild of Beer Writers in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
