Number One Drinks moves into Japanese beer

Japanese whisky specialist, Number One Drinks Company has started  to distribute Japanese craft beer.

Having made agreements with Japanese brewers, brands Baird, Brimmer and Minoh are to be imported  to Europe.

Baird Beer has arrived in Sweden and is available through the state monopoly Systembolaget, while the first UK shipment of Baird and Minoh beers will be available on a pre-order basis from Utobeer.

Tokyo-based David Croll, Managing Director (Asia) of Number One Drinks, who has worked with brands such as Brewdog, Harviestoun and Mikkeler in Japan, said: “The craft beer revolution is in full swing in Japan. It is fantastic to be able to share some of these amazing brews with other fanatics around the world.”

Number One Drinks Company holds global distribution rights for Chichibu, Hanyu and Karuizawa whiskies.
