02 December, 2013

The world’s best selling single malt Scotch whisky in 2012 was Glenfiddich, according to Drinks International’s The Millionaires’ Club 2013.

William Grant & Sons’ Glenfiddich topped the list with 1.0 million 9-litre cases, but Pernod Ricard’s flagship malt The Glenlivet ran it close with volumes of 0.8m cases.

The Glenlivet and Edrington’s The Macallan are expected to reach 1.0m cases mark in 2013.
