Tito’s Handmade Vodka makes UK bow

06 January, 2014

Tito’s Handmade Vodka, one of the pioneer products of the US’s craft vodka industry, will be available in the UK on and off-trade later this month through Hi-Spirits.

The Texas-based company produces vodka that is six-times pot-distilled and made from 100% corn, giving it a “sweeter, rounder flavour than vodkas made from wheat and potatoes", according to the UK distributor.

Tito’s has an ABV of 40%, with a RSP of £29.99 for a 70cl bottle in the UK.

Bert ‘Tito’ Beveridge, founder and master distiller of the vodka company said: “We are extremely excited to begin selling Tito’s Handmade Vodka in the UK. As a frequent visitor, I am also looking forward to the experience of enjoying a Tito’s cocktail in the UK after all these years! It’s a dynamic market, and we’re proud to partner with Hi-Spirits to expand our distribution there.”

Dan Bolton, managing director of Hi-Spirits, said: “Tito’s Handmade Vodka is an excellent fit with our existing portfolio of brands, offering a high quality spirit at an accessible price point. The entrepreneurial approach taken in the US is also an ideal match with our own approach to brand marketing and development.”
