The world’s largest premium drinks company says the gift pack forms part of a limited edition collection said to be inspired by the pioneering spirit of John Walker and Alfred Dunhill and their journeys around the world.
The travel retail exclusive gift pack will be available for global travellers in 41 travel retail outlets globally at a recommended retail price of US$300.
Designed by Alfred Dunhill, the travel retail pack, is said to include a new Johnnie Walker Blue Label 1-litre bottle embossed with a map. Both the interior and exterior of the pack also feature the contours of a map, said to bring to life a shared journey and reflecting the travel credentials of both Walker and Dunhill.
Identifiable by signature design elements of both brands - the iconic Johnnie Walker Blue Label blue colour packaging and Dunhill's famous 'Chassis' design – the gift pack features copper finishing inspired by the copper stills used in the whisky distillation process.
To celebrate the launch, Johnnie Walker Blue Label and Alfred Dunhill ‘pop-ups’ have been installed in some of the world’s busiest airports, to showcase the pack and offer samples to travellers. These include activations in Shanghai Pudong airport Terminal 2, land-side in Incheon airport inSouth Koreaand in Concourse A of Dubai International.
Diageo Global Travel Retail’s global marketing director Middle East, Steve White said: “Two British icons celebrate a shared journey towards achieving the extraordinary. It is therefore fitting that a travel retail exclusive gift pack has been created for global travellers to enjoy on their own great journeys.”
