Kingsland and Legacy become Kingsland

24 April, 2014

Kingsland Wine & Spirits and Legacy Wines will now be known simply as ‘Kingsland’, the Manchester-based company has announced.

The company says after listening to stakeholders, it has simplified its message, consolidating its offerings under the Kingsland umbrella.

The business has traded under the Kingsland name for 20 years and claims to be the industry’s leading UK independent solutions company.

Established more than 50 years ago it set up its brand and agency division, Legacy Wines, in 2011 and strengthened this with the purchase of the assets of the Stratford’s business in 2012.

Managing director Andy Sagar said: “The last few years have been a period of positive development and significant investment for us, from setting up our own brands and agency portfolio to installing a new 42-tank wine cellar. Bringing all the elements of our operation under one name helps us to communicate a very simple message: that Kingsland is an experienced, innovative, bespoke wine and spirits company.”
