Quintessential unveils Bloom Strawberry Cup.

08 May, 2014

Quintessential Brands, owners of the London Dry gin brand Bloom, has launched of its first ‘summer limited edition gin liquor’, Bloom Strawberry Cup.

The company says master Distiller, Joanne Moore has created a new version of her Bloom Gin by steeping fresh English strawberries in gin.

Strawberry Cup is said to have been inspired by Bloom Gin’s signature serve of a G&T with quartered strawberries. Moore is said to have combined fresh strawberries with the floral gin, giving a strawberry coloured liquor which can be drunk with lemonade, ginger ale or as an ingredient in cocktails.

Its taste is described as: “A slight tart taste from the strawberries which opens up on the mouth-feel to allow the softness of Bloom Gin to come through.”

Bloom gin is made in a traditional copper pot still in Cheshire in what is hailed as the oldest gin distillery in Britain. It has been producing gin by hand for more than 250 years. Strawberry Cup joins limited edition Sloe Bloom Gin as an extension to the Bloom range.
