Trivento to sponsor Premiership Rugby

30 July, 2014

Argentinean wine brand Trivento has signed an exclusive deal to be an ‘Official Supporter of Premiership Rugby’, in the UK.

A first for Premiership Rugby, this collaboration starts next month (September) and runs through the 2014-15 season.

Trivento is owned by Concha y Toro, South America’s largest wine producer. It claims to be one of the fastest-growing top five Argentine wine brands.

It will act as an ‘official supporter’ throughout the year with the opportunity to extend the agreement for an additional two years.

The sponsorship starts at the London Double Header at Twickenham on September 6. Trivento’s chief winemaker, Germán Di Césare, will host customers and press throughout the day as four of Aviva Premiership Rugby’s top teams - Harlequins, Saracens, Wasps and London Irish, battle it out.

The brand saw a 200% sales increase across total UK off trade, claims the company.
Concha y Toro UK marketing director Clare Griffiths said: “We are incredibly excited about this powerful partnership. It will provide the brand with the perfect platform to communicate our adventurous spirit that is derived from the three winds that craft our award winning wines.”
