Distill Ventures doubles intake for accelerator programme

01 September, 2014

Distill Ventures - set up with investment from Diageo – will give up to 10 new and growing spirits brands the opportunity to take part in its Seed Programme 2015.

The accelerator programme offers candidates the opportunity to gain cash investment and access to industry expertise and independent drinks specialists.

Shilen Patel, Distill Ventures’ CEO, said: “We’re really excited to be doubling down on the Seed Programme, allowing us to work with a larger number of entrepreneurs from across the world. Over the past year we’ve met so many exciting businesses, and it’s great that we can now assist more of them with the funding and expertise to help them grow.

“Last year we had applications from all parts of the world, and this year we’re expanding our global search for the best new ideas and brands”.

Dan Gasper, Distill Ventures’ COO, adds: “We’re entrepreneurs ourselves, and everything we do at Distill Ventures is about helping entrepreneurs develop and grow great brands. We want to be the first and best place for up and coming spirits brands to come to if they are serious about taking their business to the next level.”
