AdVini to distribute Patache d’Aux

24 September, 2014

AdVini and its Bordeaux house, Antoine Moueix, based in Saint Emilion, have signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Domaines Lapalu, owners of the celebrated Médoc Cru Bourgeois, Château Patache d’Aux.

Headed up by Jean-Michel Lapalu and Marc Ferté, Domaines Lapalu own seven châteaux with IDIA (Crédit Agricole bank) classified as Crus Bourgeois in the Médoc and Haut Médoc, covering an area of 250 hectares of vines on Bordeaux’s Left Bank.

Domaines Lapalu had a turnover of €7.5 million in 2013, essentially from exports (50%) and the French on-trade sector. All of this business activity will be integrated into the AdVini distribution network.

The partnership follows Antoine Moueix’s takeover in 2013 of the distribution and the technical management of another Cru Bourgeois property in the Médoc, the 80ha Château d’Hanteillan. Moueix thus continues to strengthen its position on the Left Bank with annual turnover of around €35 million.
