Edrington unveils latest Cutty Sark expression

05 November, 2014

Edrington has announced the launch of its latest blended scotch whisky expression - Cutty Sark Thirty-Three Year Old Art Deco Limited Edition.

Available globally this month, 3,456 bottles of the 41.7% abv blend are presented in piano black wooden boxes inlaid with mother of pearl.

Wendy Harries Jones, senior brand manager said: “This is the oldest blended scotch ever released by Cutty Sark, hand selected and crafted by Kirsteen Cambell, our master blender.”

The Art Deco Limited Edition is said to ‘celebrate a time when Cutty Sark blended scotch whisky found its way to America and flourished within the emerging cocktail culture.’

The launch follows the release of the 25 Year Old Tom O’Shanter Limited Edition in 2011.

Jones added: “We are genuinely excited by the stylish liquid created by Kirsteen who keeps pushing the brand into exciting flavour developments, she set the bar very high with our Tom O’Shanter and has raised it even further this time.”

The Art Deco Limited Edition carries a recommended retail price of £650.
