Hayman releases limited edition Family Reserve gin

27 November, 2014

Gin distiller Hayman has launched a small batch gin called Family Reserve, which is rested for three weeks in aged scotch whisky barrels.

Family Reserve (41.3% abv) which will be released in batches of 5,000 bottles, replaces Hayman’s 1850. It is expected to retail for circa £28.

The effect of the wood is said to give the gin a mellow note but the style of Family Reserve is to have coriander and juniper as the dominant botanicals. Whereas other Hayman gins are more citrus in style.
