Yellowtail reaches 1m case sales in GB

20 May, 2015

Casella Family Brands’ Yellowtail has reached one million nine-litre case sales in Great Britain during 2014/15.

The first shipment of Yellowtail to the UK was in April 2001 and it is now the second largest market for the brand by volume.

John Casella, managing director of Casella Family Brands, said: “We are thrilled to have met the one million case mark in the UK.”

Caroline Stranders, senior brand manager for Percy Fox & Co – sole UK distributor of Yellowtail -  added: “We are extremely proud to have reached this goal, particularly when you consider the fiercely competitive nature of the UK market and the strong performing brands from other categories, such as Chile, US, Spain and New Zealand.

“For Yellowtail to outperform the Australian category in terms of year on year growth and achieve one million cases to our loyal consumer base is a fantastic achievement.”
