Brown-Forman to hold groundbreaking for Slane Distillery

Brown-Forman will hold a groundbreaking for the first distillery the company has built outside the US, this month.

The Slane Distillery, located on the historic Slane Castle Estate in County Meath, Ireland will start operation late 2016.

Brown-Forman has invested approximately $500 million to build the Irish whiskey distillery.

The groundbreaking ceremony, for invited guests and media, will take place on 29 September.
