Whyte & Mackay has appointed Jonathan Driver as the company’s rare whisky director.

Whyte & Mackay says Driver will provide further impetus to the company’s ambitious international growth plans for its luxury Scotch whisky portfolio.

Driver brings 27 years’ experience in the Scotch whisky industry, including his time as global malts director at Diageo and, most recently, a luxury brand consultant working on Johnnie Walker Blue Label and higher marques.

Nick Garland, Whyte & Mackay global commercial director, said: “We are delighted to have someone of Jonathan’s calibre joining our team here at Whyte & Mackay.  He brings a wealth of experience, and his expertise will help us to continue the dynamic growth of The Dalmore and Jura brands in the right way.”
