Stock appoints Stachowicz as non-exec director

Stock Spirits, the leading spirits business in Central and Eastern Europe, has announced that Miroslaw Stachowicz has been an independent non-executive director with immediate effect.

Stachowicz has joined the audit and remuneration committees with effect from today.

Stachowicz is currently non-executive vice-chairman and head of the audit committee of Harper Hygenics SA and member of the supervisory board of CCC SA, both listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

He also advises a number of other private equity investors and international companies. Prior to this, he had a career working in consumer-facing companies and advising a number of multinationals on their market entry strategy into the CEE.

The company has also pmade Andrew Cripps, who has served on the board since the IPO in 2013, a senior independent director with effect from today.

Following Stachowicz’s appointment, the Stock Spirits board now comprises two executive directors and three Independent non-executive directors, plus the chairman.  

The board has also refreshed the membership of the committees of the board.  The composition of the committees is now as follows:

·         The audit committee continues to be chaired by Andrew Cripps and its members are John Nicolson and Mirek Stachowicz.

·         The remuneration committee continues to be chaired by John Nicolson and its members are Andrew Cripps and Mirek Stachowicz.

·         The nomination committee continues to be chaired by David Maloney and its members are Andrew Cripps and John Nicolson.

·         The disclosure committee continues to be chaired by David Maloney and its members are Chris Heath, Lesley Jackson and Elisa Gómez de Bonilla.
