The Shanghai-based show, which is co-run by China International Exhibitions, took place over three days from November 11-13 and showcased 600 wine and spirits producers from 33 countries.
Most exhibitors came from France, Italy, Spain and Argentina.
Michael Degen, executive director at Messe Düsseldorf and director of ProWein, said: “Last year we had discussions with our exhibitors if they want to come back or not. This year the question is not if they return but how much space is available. This confirms that we are on the right track with our satellite event of ProWein in China.”
ProWine China 2016 will be held from November 7-9.
