Vinexpo 2016 set to attract 1,300 exhibitors

22 April, 2016

Vinexpo Hong Kong 2016 is set to attract 1,300 wine and spirit exhibitors from more than 35 countries worldwide to the city’s Convention and Exhibition Centre from 24 to 26 May.

French and Italian producers will appear alongside some first time exhibitors from places such as Bulgaria and Slovakia at the biennial event that in 2016 is being held for the seventh time.

France will have the biggest presence at the show, as the country remains the top wine supplier to Asia, with 27.7 million cases imported in 2014.

Vinexpo also showcases wines from one country for every show, and this year it will be Italy, as it is the fifth-largest wine exporter to China and imports 4.5 million cases of Italian wine each year.
