Chang Beer marks 21st anniversary with new packaging

27 April, 2016

Chang Beer is marking its 21st anniversary by introducing an updated packaging with a green and gold design across the world.

The redesign will see the introduction of a taller neck and an elevated bottle shoulder. The bottle waist has been adjusted, with embossing down the bottle side. This new packaging will be available in the UK next month and is already available in other markets.

In addition to the primary colour shift from brown to emerald green, the gold used on the cap and labels has been updated to a more “premium champagne gold, which is brought to life by the sheen of the labels”.

Chang Beer currently attributes 74% of its sales in the UK to on-trade and sales for the beer have doubled in the country over the past five years.
