The final four to make the cut are: Mahiki of London, Alvino’s in Newcastle, The Bureau of Birmingham and Trading House, also London.
The bars have been invited to Magic Roundabout on August 9 to re-create their Chairman’s Reserve Mai Tai cocktail to a VIP crowd. They will be tasked to produce a twist on the classic Mai Tai cocktail using two expressions of Chairman’s Reserve.
With a secret panel of judges, the winning bar team will find out on the evening whether they have won a training visit for two to St Lucia as part of the prestige Chairman’s XI programme, courtesy of Chairman’s Reserve rum makers, St Lucia Distillers.
