The Bureau National Interprofessionnel du Cognac (BNIC), the generic body representing cognac producers, says the auction will be a global affair for the first time.
The auction will be facilitated by auction house Artcurial, with the opportunity to bid live online through the Artcurial website, artcurial.com.
The annual charity auction of cognacs, this year 24 exclusive cognac blends and decanters will be on offer. With estimated prices ranging from €1,500 – €20,000, all proceeds will be donated to the Apprentices Auteuil Foundation, a local charity that helps disadvantaged young people.
