AdVini buys Ken Forrester

14 September, 2016

AdVini, the major southern French wine producer, has bought a majority shareholding in Ken Forrester’s Forrester Vineyards in South Africa.

Forrester himself will remain as CEO. He will be in charge of national and international development with the support of the AdVini sales team. The aim is to double the sales in the coming years.

This comes after AdVini bought the Stellenbosch stalwart, Le Bonheur, a 163-hectare wine estate, in addition to L’Avenir, famous for its Pinotage, which has belonged to AdVini since 2010.

AdVini says these moves aim to position AdVini as one of the leading terroir wine producers in South Africa and are aligned with the AdVini strategic plan ‘E-toile 2020’.
