The new bar - which opens April 14, a week after the closure of White Lyan - will serve ‘Bitchin Classics’, which according to the White Lyan team are suped-up versions of familiar drinks.
It is the first of a two-stage transformation of the White Lyan venue and signals a change in direction from the outgoing bar’s ‘no ice, no perishables’ approach.
A statement from the Mr Lyan team said: “The bar will be a showcase of what happens when you take a team that loves classics, and has exceptional experience working within both traditional cocktail bars and pushing the boundaries of accepted drinks industry norms.
"Applying their knowledge and experience gained creating ‘heaps mad shit’ within White Lyan to a traditional bar set up, there may even be a shaker and come cubes of ice.”
