Bolney Wine Estate expands to meet global demand

06 April, 2017

English winery Bolney Wine Estate has reacted to increased demand for its wine in export markets by expanding its team.

Joining the team is Bryonie Grieveson as PR & marketing manager and Dominic Thranum as senior sales manager.

Grieveson brings more than 25 years of experience in the wine trade, including roles at Pernod Ricard and Accolade Wines. At Accolade Wines, Grieveson managed the full marketing mix of the Australian and South African portfolio of wines, including Hardys.

Thranum joins Bolney Wine Estate with more than 15 years of experience of business strategy from his previous roles at Matthew Clark, Bibendum and Majestic.

To date, the vineyard, under the watch of Sam Linter, has gained outside investment and is aiming to treble production to support international and UK growth.

Sam Linter said: “I am looking forward to working with Dominic to meet the demand we are receiving for the premium still and sparkling wine portfolio, including the award-winning Blanc de Blancs, Bolney Bubbly, Pinot Gris, Bacchus and Pinot Noir.

“We have always had a vision to not only build the profile of Bolney Wine Estate, but to educate wine lovers about this fantastic produce – Bryonie is going to be critical in making this happen.”
