Quintessential Brands appoints new group operations director

International spirits group Quintessential Brands has appointed Simon Williams as group operations director, with immediate effect.

Williams has worked in global supply chain management for more than 25 years and will be responsible for Quintessential Brands’ group manufacturing operations including L&L in France, First Ireland Spirits in Ireland and G&J Distillers in the UK.

Warren Scott, CEO at Quintessential Brands Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome Simon to our senior management team. 

“He was recently recognised as one of the 100 most influential logisticians in the UK and brings a wealth of experience to our busy production facilities across three countries.”

Williams joins Quintessential Brands from Accolade Wines where, as chief supply chain officer, he was responsible for global demand planning, procurement, global manufacturing and logistics.
