British Bartender's Association kicks off in Dandelyan

23 June, 2017

The British Bartender’s Association (BBA) held its first monthly meeting at Dandelyan on Monday 19 June, hosted by William Grant & Sons.

The BBA aims to provide the tools and training to help members of the bartending trade to advance their careers and become future industry leaders.

They new association was founded by Steph DiCamillo when she discovered the need for a centralised group, tailored towards bar industry professionals.

The meeting at Dandelyan was hosted by William Grant & Sons, who showcased the versatility of its scotch liqueur, Drambuie with different serves paired to each presentation.

Drambuie global ambassador Freddy May led a seminar on the possibilities brought forward by Drambuie, as well as the quality of eggs and honey used in cocktails.

Guests enjoyed a serve of Drambuie Collins from World Class Bartender UK Winner Aidan Bowie, the Drambuie sours, and a Drambuie & Honey cocktail.

The BBA will continue to meet monthly and experience industry events and projects that serve the bartending community in the UK for free.
