De Kuyper launches special edition Mandarine Napoléon

15 September, 2017

De Kuyper has launched a special limited edition of its Mandarine Napoléon liqueur which boasts 125-year-old Grande Fine Champagne Cognac and comes in a bottle shrouded in 24 carat gold leaf.

To celebrate 125 years of the liqueur, there are only 125 bottles of Mandarine Napoléon XO Gold. The recommended retail price is a mouthwatering €1,892.

XO Gold was launched at a glittering event in Antwerp on Wednesday night (September 13).

The company says a goldsmith from a small hamlet in the south of The Netherlands manually covered the bottle with 24-carat gold leaf – so the bottle shimmers and shines from within its tailor-made walnut wood box.

De Kuyper says Mandarine Napoléon XO Gold is probably best savoured neat or on the rocks to experience the subtleties and special finish.
