Chivas Regal invests £50m in bottling plant

Scotch whisky producer, Chivas Brothers has announced the construction of a £50m expansion to its bottling plant in Dunbartonshire, Scotland.

The company, owned by Pernod Ricard, employs 1,600 people, has 14 Scotch distilleries, two bottling facilities and more than 300 warehouses across its 26 sites throughout Scotland and London.

 

Laurent Lacassagne, chair and CEO of Chivas Brothers, said: “It represents a major step change for our business as we continue to strive for operational excellence and strengthen our iconic Scotch whisky portfolio.

 

“Not only will it bring economic benefits to Scotland, but also to the local Dunbartonshire community where we are proud to have built a rich 80-year legacy.”
