375 Park Avenue Spirits will carry the full Castarède portfolio and suggested retail pricing for the portfolio ranges from $39.00 - $4500 and will be available throughout the US.
Jason Schladenhauffen, president of 375 Park Avenue Spirits said: “Few brands have the history that Castarède possesses and in today’s marketplace that carries significant weight with consumers at the point of purchase.
“Our ambition is to further educate the trade and consumers alike on this fast growing category and in doing so help propel Castarède forward as a national category leader, which only seems fitting given the brand’s lineage.”
Castarède, founded in 1832 during the reign of Napoleon III, is the oldest registered French armagnac trading house still in operation. Led by sixth generation owner Florence Castarède, whose family was ennobled by King Louis XVIII in 1818, the House is known internationally for its selection of vintage Armagnacs.
The Castarède estate is located in the Bas-Armagnac region and through its 15th century cellars, Armagnac Castarède produces vintage and non-vintage Armagnacs distilled primarily between 1900-2000.
The House has one of the largest and oldest collections of vintages available in the US, including one from 1893 currently available in a Sazerac cocktail at Revolution in New Orleans.
Florence CastarèdeI added: “With 375 Park Avenue Spirits, I know that my Armagnacs Castarède have found a respectful, trustworthy, long-term partner”.
