Bordeneuve Châteaux & Collections breaks into Thailand

02 August, 2018

Bordeneuve Châteaux & Collections has joined forces with importer and distributor Exquisite Elixir Co. Ltd to enter into the Thai market.

It is the first time that the armagnac producer has exported its spirits to Thailand and it will offer its full range of bas-armagnacs: Baron de Sigognac and Château de Bordeneuve & 'La Collection Privée', as well as 'Les Saveurs Inédites'.

"Thailand has been experiencing a period of maintained growth which today, averages 4.5% annual," said  Selin Tanetvitayavet, commercial director for Exquisite Elixir. "This is allowing our population to better express their refined tastes and thus increasing demand for rare and high-end international products such as the craft bas-armagnacs distilled and commercialised by Bordeneuve Châteaux & Collections.

"The Exquisite Elixir team is highly motivated by this solid partnership, and the firm commitment on the part of our existing and future clients has already facilitated listings of these magnificent bas-armagnacs in both chic and highly exclusive establishments."

Château de Bordeneuve is based in the Bas Armagnac region near Condom in the south of France and supplies some of the top bars in the world with its armagnac. Over the past year it has established international deals with Azerbaijan and the US, with a reported spike in interest from the rest of Europe and Asia.

Managing director of Bordeneuve Châteaux & Collections Thomas Guasch, added: "I am convinced by the quality of relations and high level of cooperation that we have already established; the long term development of which is dear to our hearts, as are the confidence and mutual interests of our two companies."
