Barefoot prepares for double-digit growth in 2019

Barefoot wine brand is preparing for continued success in the UK wine market with double-digit growth predicted for 2019.

Over the past two years, the brand class to have been the biggest contributor of revenue and volume growth to the wine category, adding more than £57m.

Barefoot has the UK number one Pinot Grigio, Merlot and Pink Moscato, growing by 15%, 23% and 12% respectively, and the combined value increased by more than £14.4m in 2018.

Despite launching two years ago, Barefoot Malbec claims to have become the number one contributor of growth to this varietal increasing in value and growing at 60% in 2018, three times faster than the total Malbec category.
