Champagne Palmer unveils new winery

20 February, 2019

Champagne Palmer & Co has unveiled its new winery located close to the House’s Grand and Premier Crus vineyards in the Montagne de Reims.

The new HQE (High Environmental Quality) winery will house Palmer’s reserve wines with a storage capacity of 21,352 hl.

It has been designed to be bioclimatic and to maximise natural light. It also uses the natural slope of the land to facilitate flow by gravity. There is also a tasting room that overlooks the winery.

CEO and winemaker Rémi Vervier said: "This new site perfectly reflects Palmer & Co's commitment to following the path of innovation and sustainable development. Every detail has been studied in depth to ensure that the building meets the highest quality and environmental standards."
