The whisky is bottled at 40% abv is the second whisky in the Concertmaster range, double matured in Spanish sherry casks after ageing in the distillery’s refill casks.
Master blender Ian Chang said the double maturation process which Concertmaster Sherry Finish undergoes adds depth and complexity and the whisky has initially been launched in Taiwan ahead of a global launch later in the year.
“Just like our first Concertmaster, the finishing in Sherry casks mellows out the flavours, adds depth and multiple layers, and locks in an incredible softness to the whisky,” said Chang.
