28 November, 2019

Langstane Liquor Company has launched Glasshouse Whisky which has been specifically designed to be complement long drinks.

The company was co-founded by Ben Iravani, Josh Rennie and Alex Lawrence and Glasshouse Whisky is a single grain, blended malt whisky made from 100% malted barley.

It uses a blend of Coffey and Pot still distillates from a single Highland distillery and is non-chill filtered and bottled at 46% abv.

“Adding a whisky to our portfolio was something we had always wanted to do and we feel Glasshouse is perfect for breaking the traditional stereotypes often associated with scotch,” said Iravani.

“The popularity of Whisky Highballs is gathering momentum, so we felt it was the perfect time to create a whisky designed specifically for mixing in long drinks that could hold its own, and carry full flavours.”

Glasshouse is available through Drinksology Group’s When We Are Giants for England, Wales and Ireland and through Base Spirits for Scotland.
